COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man accused in a domestic violence stalking case was arrested Tuesday afternoon following a standoff with police officers.
According to Colorado Springs Police officers, 29-year-old Gregory Anderson was involved in a disturbance on North Iowa Avenue in the city around 4:05 p.m. Tuesday. When officers got there, someone told them Anderson had already gone back into the house.
Because officers thought he may have had a gun with him, they called in tactical units, who got him on the phone and realized he wasn't inside. He voluntarily met with them and was taken into custody.
Officers learned he was wanted on a separate domestic violence stalking warrant. He will be charged with harassment in that case.
No one was hurt in the disturbance or ensuing standoff.
