What areas have been evacuated?
All of Wetmore and Greenwood Village are under a mandatory evacuation. Homes in far western Pueblo County east of Wetmore have also been evacuated.
Where do I go if I am evacuated?
Evacuees can go to one of two Red Cross shelters:

Pueblo, CO 81001
How do I find an evacuated family member or friend?
You can register yourself as "Safe and Well" at a Red Cross shelter by clicking here. You can also search for friends and family members using the same link.
Where can I take my animals?
Large animals can be taken to the Rodeo Grounds on 9th Street in Canon City or the Pueblo State Fairgrounds. Pueblo Animal Services on Eagleridge Place is accepting smaller animals.
What major roads are closed?
Highway 96 is closed in the Wetmore area, and Highway 67 is closed south of Florence. Highway 50, Highway 115 and I-25 through Pueblo are all open.
How can I help?
Care and Share Food Bank is holding a one-day food drive for Wetmore Fire victims on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Bring your non-perishables to the Pueblo warehouse at 100 Greenhorn Drive between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
You can also text the word "Donate" to 41010 to make a $10 donation.
Where is the fire headed?
Wildfires are unpredictable, and wind gusts close to 80 mph make it difficult to contain. If you feel unsafe, don't wait for law enforcement officials to tell you to evacuate.
What will the weather be like the next few days?
Winds will die down a bit Wednesday, but temperatures are still expected to be warm. Thursday should be much cooler with a cold front moving in. Click here to see the latest weather developments.
