COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The case for former Colorado Springs Police officer Josh Carrier is expected to wrap up Tuesday, at which point it will be handed to the jury.
This is Carrier's second trial, as the first jury deadlocked on more than 150 counts of inappropriately touching boys while serving as a volunteer wrestling coach at Horace Mann Middle School. The first jury acquitted him of 36 molestation counts but convicted him of 21 counts related to child pornography.
The most recent trial began Sept. 25 and included nearly all of the witnesses who testified in the spring 2012 trial.
Carrier reached a $9.4 million civil settlement with the families of the accused victims a few days after the second trial began.
