FREMONT COUNTY, COLO. -- Fremont County Sheriff's deputies said a skydiver who crash landed because of a cross wind Saturday has been released from the hospital.

According to deputies, 44-year-old Edward Delia got caught in a cross wind around 8 p.m., causing a rough landing at the Fremont County Airport. He was hospitalized and later released.

Delia is an experienced skydiver with a B level license, which required a specific number of night jumps.

The dive was going as planned before the cross wind.

High Sky Skydiving, which operates out of the airport complex, was Delia's company for that jump.
