Police: Man forced teen girlfriend to have sex with him, attacked her

CANON CITY, COLO. -- Fremont County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man Saturday on charges of repeatedly attacking and sexually assaulting his girlfriend.

According to deputies, 20-year-old Grayson Gopp assaulted the 19-year-old woman multiple times over a six week period and forced her to have sex with him.

Deputies did not release any other details about the case but said Gopp is facing menacing, third degree assault, felony sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, felony false imprisonment and domestic violence charges.

He is currently in jail without a bond opportunity.
