Police on the scene of an alleged carjacking Saturday night.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a carjacking Saturday night near the intersection of Murray Boulevard and Galley Road.
Officers said the suspect was armed with a handgun, and stole a white Nissian pickup truck.
They said the truck was later located near Hancock Avenue and Fillmore Street, and added when they attempted to stop the driver he fired several shots in their direction.
After a short pursuit, police forcibly stopped the truck and arrested the driver.
The CSPD said one officer received minor injuries during the incident.
