WESTMINSTER, COLO. -- The Westminster community came together Saturday to remember Jessica Ridgeway.

Neighbors and family members released green and purple balloons into the sky for the ten-year-old.

Purple is Jessica's favorite color.

Residents also expressed their sympathy for the Ridgeway family.

"To show support and that we all care, and we think that this could happen to anybody," family friend Linda Eggers said.

Jessica disappeared on October 5 while walking to school.
