The end of the road for two Michigan fugitives came in Canon City Thursday night.

Kenneth Grauman, 32, and Gregory Bradshaw, 23, were taken into custody by the Pueblo SWAT team at the Budget Host Inn near Highway 50 and Raynolds.  The girlfriends of the men, Laura Lee Grauman and Brittany Rector, were also taken into custody.

The men escaped from a minimum security facility September 29 in Baldwin, Michigan, north of Grand Rapids. They have fled from police on at least three occasions since their escape, and are suspected of numerous home invasions and at least one stolen car in Michigan.  U.S  Marshals contacted local authorities, indicating the pair may be in Canon City.

A joint investigation between U.S Marshals, Canon City Police and Fremont County Sheriffs was developed, and the fugitives were located at the motel about 5:00 Thursday evening. They were taken into custody without incident, and are being held in the Fremont County Detention Center until they can be extradited back to Michigan. A meth lab was found inside their motel room. The girlfriends will be charged in Fremont County.
