COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs police have arrested a man believed to be responsible for a number of armed robberies in the city.

Police say Clinton Coppock is accused of robbing the KS Barber Shop on Institute Street Monday afternoon and then robbing the Dunkin' Donuts on Delmonico Drive.

He's also accused of robbing Elmer's Market on Prospect Street the same day.

Witnesses reported seeing a red Acura leaving the scene of at least one of the robberies.

Police then spotted the vehicle in the downtown area and found evidence inside the car linking it to these robberies and others.

Police are still investigating.
