COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A Colorado Springs man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend's husband has been sentenced to 38 years in prison.
District Judge Timothy Schutz sentenced Roy Saldivar Friday for the September 2011 shooting death of 34-year-old Oscar "James" Frias of Thornton.
Saldivar was convicted in July of second-degree murder.
Investigators said Frias was shot three times outside a Colorado Springs Dairy Queen.
