KIT CARSON, COLO. -- A missing 80-year-old woman from Colorado Springs has been found safe in the southeastern Colorado town of Kit Carson.

Mary Griffin was found around 10 p.m. Wednesday after being reported missing around 3 p.m. She was last seen at her home on Northcrest Drive around 11 a.m.

Colorado Springs Police officers said Cheyenne County Sheriff's deputies found her, but they didn't say why she was in Kit Carson. She was immediately hospitalized for a non life-threatening medical condition. Griffin becomes disoriented when she doesn't eat.

Officers said no foul play was suspected when she disappeared, and they did not say anything about criminal activity when she was found.
