Rescuers have recovered a body believed to be that of a boater who disappeared while trying to free an anchor in Cherry Creek Reservoir.
The man's wife said her family was watching the sunset Saturday when the boat's anchor became stuck in the mud on the bottom of the reservoir southeast of Denver. The woman says her husband went into the water to try and free it and never resurfaced.
According to KMGH-TV, the South Metro Fire department failed to find the man over the weekend and resumed their search on Monday.
