Police release name of man killed in bar shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have released the name of the man who was gunned down in a bar early Sunday morning.

Officers said 35-year-old Kevin McCray died after being shot at 2 Dog Tavern on South Academy Boulevard around 1:41 a.m.

The El Paso County Coroner said McCray's death was a homicide, the 16th in Colorado Springs in 2012. There were 19 at this time in 2011.

Officers have arrested 24-year-old Tyler Williamson, who is expected to be formally charged with first degree murder.
