COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Two people have now died following a crash Aug. 12 in Colorado Springs in which a car was going the wrong way and failed to stop.

According to Colorado Springs Police officers, 71-year-old Mary Ann Allison died at the hospital Saturday after the car she was in Aug. 12 was hit by another car.

Allison and 67-year-old Teddy Allison, who died Wednesday from injuries in the crash, are the only two who had serious injuries.

The driver of the other car, 18-year-old Khalil Sanders, was going west on an east-only portion of Sawyer Way approaching Murray Boulevard. He crossed into the intersection and hit the Allison's car, which was going south on Murray.

Sanders was treated for minor injuries. The District Attorney's office will determine what charges, if any, he faces once the investigation is over.

The Allisons' deaths are the 15th and 16th traffic deaths in Colorado Springs in 2012.
