Springs Police on the scene of a fatal overnight shooting

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating following an overnight shooting that left one man dead.
It happened just after 1:30 Sunday morning at the 2 Dog Tavern located at 3113 S. Academy Boulevard.
According to the CSPD, when officers arrived at the scene they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are now looking for a possible suspect vehicle, described as a dark green 90's model sedan with tinted windows.
They said the suspect is believed to be a black male, 25 to 30-years-old, 5'8", bald with a light to medium complextion.
He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Springs Police said several people left the bar before officers arrived, and added they would also like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the shooting.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
