PUEBLO WEST, COLO. -- Adams County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man wanted on a Pueblo County arrest warrant over the weekend after he was accused of stealing more than $57,000 worth of items from two businesses.

Deputies in Adams County told Pueblo County deputies they had arrested 44-year-old Robert Van Buskirk Sunday on a separate charge.

Deputies said Van Buskirk stole $27,000 worth of items from Serendipity Wood and $30,000 worth of items and a pickup truck from the business next door the day before his arrest.

The truck was entered into the system as stolen and recovered when Van Buskirk was arrested.

Van Buskirk had pawned most of the items, but deputies said everything has been recovered.
