Police make arrest in laundromat robbery

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have made an arrest in connection with a robbery at a city laundromat in July.

King's Cleaners in the 1500 block of South Nevada Avenue was robbed July 13. On Wednesday, detectives got information about the suspect and obtained a warrant for 26-year-old Jaime Phillips' arrest.

Phillips was arrested Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Crestone Lane.

The Colorado Springs resident will be charged with aggravated robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.
