COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man caught a burglar in his home Thursday morning and trapped the boy with a gun until police officers arrived.
According to Colorado Springs Police officers, the homeowner caught the suspect in his home in the 2600 block of Oro Blanco Drive around 3:28 a.m.
The man used a 12 gauge shotgun to hold the suspect on the kitchen floor until officers got there. Officers arrested the boy, and the homeowner put away his gun.
Officers said they are continuing the investigation and don't know if the boy was alone or not.
