CALHAN, COLO. -- A woman accused of first degree murder was found guilty Wednesday.

Just hours later, she was sentenced to spend life in prison without parole.

Adams was charged with the murder of Robert Miles, the 55-year-old man who was killed with a shotgun last October in Calhan.

Authorities said Adams and her boyfriend Mark Manyik lured Adams' ex-boyfriend, Miles, to their Calhan home with the intent to kill him.

The arrest affidavit in the case reveals Adams may have used text and phone messages to lure Miles.

The pair later admitted to planning Miles' murder.
