BACA COUNTY, COLO. -- Colorado State troopers said a man died Thursday night after rolling his truck in southeastern Colorado.

According to troopers, 50-year-old Aubrey Chapman lost control of his pickup truck on Highway 287 about a mile north of Campo in Baca County. He drifted off the left side of the road while driving south, going into a ditch and crashing into a fence.

The truck rolled in the ditch, crashing into an embankment and rolling across a road.

Chapman, a Bismarck Hot Springs, Ark. resident, died on his way to the hospital. Troopers said the crash is still under investigation, but Chapman was not wearing a seatbelt.
