COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Three-and-a-half weeks after getting a first-hand look at his destroyed home, Bobby Finch is still trying to start the rebuilding process.

"I'm doing my best trying to get these people working on it," Bobby Finch, a displaced homeowner, said.

Finch has been working on getting a clean-up estimate for the past two-and-a-half weeks from GE Johnson Construction Company, but after making calls to the man in charge and sending emails he's getting annoyed.

"I told him 'when are we going to get the email,' he said 'I don't know, but I'll check on it and call you later on.' I'm still waiting on a call," Finch said.

The construction company said they will give their customers a response Friday.  Home clean-up can take 2-5 days with low estimates starting at $2,000-$3,000.

"I don't want to see it. It's too much for me, I'll start crying," Caroline Finch, Bobby Finch's wife, said.

Bobby and his wife Caroline spent 12 years in their Mountain Shadows home, and while the rubble is too much for his wife to take, Bobby wants to start over and build his wife a new home on the property they love.
