COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Crews from the Colorado Springs Fire Department's HazMat team are cleaning up materials used for a methamphetamine lab Tuesday morning.

According to Colorado Springs Police officers, someone called them around 1:40 a.m. Tuesday to let them know there were suspicious bottles and chemicals in the parking lot of Walmart in the 3200 block of East Platte Avenue.

Officers reported the materials as potentially explosive, but so far nobody has been hurt.

Crews are still cleaning the abandoned meth lab, and the investigation is ongoing.
