WOODLAND PARK, COLO. -- Teller County Sheriff's deputies said a woman died Thursday morning after falling off a horse.

Deputies said an elderly woman fell around 10:07 a.m. at the BB Ranch in the 27000 block of Highway 67 in Woodland Park.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, but deputies said they don't yet know how she died and won't release any other information until an autopsy is complete.

Her name won't be released until deputies tell her family.
