COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers chased down a gunman who had threatened a victim and stole a car Thursday.

Around 12:45 p.m. officers said 33-year-old Brett Harris threatened someone with a gun in the 2900 block of Galley Road and took the person's gold Ford Taurus.

Officers saw the car at Platte Avenue and Murray Boulevard, but Harris didn't stop. Officers chased Harris into a field at Fountain Boulevard and Aeroplaza Drive, where they were finally able to arrest him.

Officers didn't give any other information about the incident or Harris' charges.
