COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A man who threatened two teenagers with a gun early Friday morning made of with one of the teen's bikes.

Colorado Springs Police officers said a 15-year-old boy and his friend were outside the 7-Eleven in the 300 block of South Hancock Avenue when a man came up and started talking with them. The man became aggressive, threatened to hurt someone and acted as if he had a gun.

The man told the kids to give him something valuable, and the 15-year-old, thinking the man had a gun, gave him his BMX bike. The man took the bike and rode it south.

Officers search the area but couldn't find him.

The suspect is a black man, 40-50 years old and has a thin to medium build. He has no facial hair and head hair that may be in a short braid. He had bad teeth, and some teeth may be missing. He wore dark clothing during the robbery.

Officers took the boy home after talking with him.
