COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are on the hunt for a man who fired bullets into windows and street lights on the Fourth of July.

Someone told officers a gunman opened fire into vacant and empty buildings around 11:11 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Murray Boulevard.

Officers got to the area and found several windows in various businesses with bullet holes in them. A few street lights in the area were also hit.

Officers don't have a good description of the man and couldn't find anyone when they searched the area.

Nobody was hurt in the shooting.
