COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A woman who attacked her sister twice Sunday afternoon is in the hospital recovering after the sister stabbed her in self-defense.
According to Colorado Springs Police officers, Tacoma Wade went to her sister's apartment in the 1200 block of Shasta Drive around 1:24 p.m. to confront her over a series of text messages. During the argument, Wade attacked her sister, then left. She came back a short time later, forced her way into her sister's place and attacked her again.
During the second attack, the sister grabbed a knife and stabbed Wade several times in the chest.
Wade staggered outside the complex and waited for medical help. Once she's released from the hospital, she is expected to be charged with first degree burglary and other charges.
Police do not expect Wade's sister to be charged.
