COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers are looking for the driver of a truck that went off the road, down an embankment, through a fence and into a homeowner's deck Sunday morning.
Around 2:19 a.m. a homeowner in the 100 block of Audubon Drive in the city called officers to tell them the truck crashed into his deck.
Officers said the driver veered off the road, fell 14 feet down an embankment, went through the fence in the yard and hit the deck.
The driver ran off before the man could see who it was. Officers are still investigating the crash but said the driver may have been drunk when it happened.
