Wanted felons caught after trying to run

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested a man and a woman Monday night after they tried running away.

Officers tried arrested Justin Aber and Alexandra Martinez, both wanted felons, in the 400 block of East Bijou Street in the city around 8:45 p.m.

Aber and Martinez both ran from the house when officers tried making the arrests. An officer caught up to Martinez, and a K-9 tracked down Aber.

Officers didn't say what they were wanted for but said Aber had minor injuries from the K-9 unit.
