PARK COUNTY, COLO. -- A lightning strike has ignited a new wildfire in southern Colorado east of where the Weber Fire burned around 70 acres earlier this week.

According to Pike National Forest officials, the 'Arkansas Fire' is active on the South Park Ranger District near the Park County/Teller County border about two miles west of Lake George and one mile south of Highway 24.

The fire, which is about 10-15 acres, has forced U.S. Forest Service officials to set up stage one fire restrictions. There are eight structures within one mile of the fire, and 43 voluntary evacuation notices have been issued.

There are currently five engines, two crews and a helicopter working to fight the fire.
