PUEBLO, COLO. -- A Chaffee County Sheriff's deputy is being credited with helping Pueblo Police officers find a man who robbed a Safeway store earlier in the week.

A man robbed the Safeway in the 600 block of West 29th Street in Pueblo Monday. When officers released surveillance photos of him Wednesday, deputy Andy Rohrich called them saying he recognized the man as 30-year-old Eric Manley. Furthermore, Rohrich told Pueblo officers Rohrich would be coming to the Chaffee County Jail later in the day to pick up a woman who was scheduled to be released.

Later Wednesday, Manley arrived to pick up the woman, who was released as scheduled. Manley was then arrested for robbery.

Officers said Manley stole 100 Oxycodone pills from the Safeway and fled on foot.
