Police chief resigns because of morale concerns

CANON CITY, COLO. (AP) -- Canon City Police Chief Duane McNeill has resigned following an audit that alleged the department has management and morale issues.

According to the Canon City Daily Record, allegations against McNeill included poor training for officers and a lack of trust by employees.

McNeill has not responded publicly to the allegations.
