DENVER (AP) -- A Postal Service carrier is recovering from extensive injuries after being attacked by two dogs while delivering mail in a northwest Denver neighborhood.
Gloria Kruse was injured Monday while walking up to a door to deliver mail.
A witness says Kruse was knocked down and dragged. The dogs let go after they were punched.
Kruse was hospitalized with injuries to her head and arms.
According to KMGH-TV, owner Phillip Key was cited for not having a dog license and for not having proof of rabies vaccination.
