COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers arrested two men early Monday morning after they ran from a stolen car while being approached by officers.
Officers approached a suspicious car in the 4700 block of Woodbury Drive around 6:50 a.m. While dealing with the suspects the driver, 20-year-old Matthew Gomez, and the passenger, 21-year-old Kenneth Brown, both got out of the car and ran.
Officers contained the area and eventually found both men and arrested them. Gomez has been charged with motor vehicle theft.
Officers learned the car was stolen from Greeley, Colo.
