LIVERMORE, COLO. (AP) -- Firefighters in northern Colorado are working to finish containment lines around a blaze that has scorched about 12 square miles.

The fire near Livermore was 87 percent contained Monday and managers expect it to fully contained by Tuesday evening.

About a half inch of rain fell at the fire on Saturday, which helped firefighters gain the upper hand on the blaze. It's not growing much now but fire managers say there are still some hot spots within the perimeter.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says a camper started the fire with an outdoor stove in the Roosevelt National Forest and was unable to stamp it out.
