PUEBLO COUNTY, COLO. -- Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies arrested two women and a man for a series of daytime burglaries in and around Pueblo.
Deputies responded to the 100 block of N. Bumgardner Road around 5:25 p.m. Saturday after a homeowner reported a jewelry box and some jewelry had been stolen. Earlier a relative of the homeowner drove by and saw a car in the driveway that wasn't the homeowner's.
When the car left, the relative returned to find the home had been burglarized while the owner was away.
Deputies determined the car, which was a car of interest in other robberies, was listed to 22-year-old Jozette Marrujo and 24-year-old Derek Valdez.
Deputies set up in the 1600 block of West 19th Street around 6:50 p.m. and arrest the two, as well as 21-year-old Kayla Saldana, for second degree burglary.
The jewelry box was in plain sight in the suspect car.
Deputies searched two additional houses and found recent stolen property in both. Saldana was also wanted for receiving stolen items and providing false information to a pawn broker.
