PETERSON AIR FORCE BASE, COLO. (AP) -- About 50 Air Force personnel and two C-130 cargo planes have left Peterson Air Force Base for a four-month deployment in southwest Asia.
The group left Tuesday.
The Air Force didn't say where the group would be stationed but said operations will include Afghanistan. Missions could include delivering supplies and equipment and performing medical evacuations.
Members of the group include active-duty and reserve personnel.
