COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- New information has been released about Saturday night's shooting in Colorado Springs.
Police said a 20-year-old man is in the hospital recovering after being shot in the face.
It happened around 9:15 p.m. at the Mountain Country Estates Apartments on Academy Boulevard, near Pikes Peak Avenue.
Officers said the victim was lying on the floor in the hallway in front of an apartment door.
They said a man, woman and three young children were inside the apartment, and added the first 911 call came in as a home invasion.

Herbert said the victim underwent surgery, and is listed in critical and unstable condition.
