DENVER (AP) -- Family members of an Arizona man believed to have gotten lost 200 miles from his destination in Colorado have no leads on his disappearance.
Seventy-two-year-old George Gudenrath of Surprise, Ariz., was heading to suburban Denver to help his son move to Illinois.
Gudenrath's stepson Steve Beal said Friday that Gudenrath called the son April 24, but never showed up.
Police in his destination of Lakewood say Gudenrath's cell phone was pinged to a tower around noon that day in Las Animas, Colo., more than 200 miles away.
Members of the U.S. Air Force and National Guard assisted with an air search in sparsely populated Bent County, but no one has been able to find Gudenrath or his vehicle.
