Miller moths may have been responsible for a car crash Tuesday night.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- A driver who was distracted by Miller moths Tuesday night crashed her car into a tree, which then caused the car to catch fire.
According to Colorado Springs Police officers, an 18-year-old woman was driving north in the 7800 block of Lexington Drive in the city around 8:37 p.m.when she became distracted by the moths in her car. She swerved off the road and hit a tree, which caused a fuel leak.
People in a car that was passing by were able to pull the woman out of the car through the driver's side window before the car caught fire from the fuel spill.
Fire crews were able to quickly put the fire out.
Officers said the woman was not seriously hurt, and she did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
