One killed, two hurt in Pueblo shooting

PUEBLO, COLO. -- One man died and two other were hospitalized late Tuesday night after a shooting in Pueblo.

Pueblo Police officers said they got to the 2300 block of De Soto Road and found three men who had all been shot.

One man, 21-year-old Nicholas Carpenter, was dead when officers arrived. Benjamin Williams, a 33-year-old remains in critical condition at a hospital, and 29-year-old Joshua Fenderbosch is in stable condition. All three are from Pueblo.

Officers arrested 30-year-old Daniel Baker on a murder charge, the second homicide in the city in 2012.

Officers said the shooting began as a disturbance in the home, but they're still trying to figure out how the four men involved are connected.
