Crews: incense caused apartment smoke

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. (AP) -- Firefighters in Colorado Springs are blaming burning incense for smoke that forced the evacuation of four apartments.

Residents had to evacuate Sunday after they reported smoke and a strange odor.

According to KKTV-TV, firefighters say the resident of the apartment was out of town and may not have known the incense sticks were left burning.
