COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- One woman is dead after police say she was stabbed to death by her husband early Sunday morning in Colorado Springs.
Colorado Springs Police said around 4 a.m. they received a 911 hang up call from 31-year-old Bobby Harris. Authorities responded to the Park Ridge Apartments on West Serendipity Drive to investigate and found 44-year-old Angela Moser suffering from stab wounds. Police said Moser was unresponsive and later died from her injuries.
Officials said Harris, the victim's husband, was inside the apartment when police arrived. He was arrested on first-degree murder charges.
This is the eighth homicide in Colorado Springs so far this year, according to Springs police. There were six homicides at the same time last year. A record-high 32 homicides were committed in the city in 2011.
