Army, college leaders discuss education

FORT CARSON, COLO. (AP) -- Senior leaders from Fort Carson are meeting with administrators from Colorado colleges and universities.

The conference in Colorado Springs on Tuesday will focus on educational opportunities for wounded soldiers and for soldiers preparing to leave the military.

Representatives from the offices of Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet and Rep. Doug Lamborn are also expected to attend.

The conference will take place at the El Pomar Foundation's Penrose House.
