COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police officers have arrested one man and are looking for another who allegedly stole items from cars, including prescription drugs.
Officers said someone saw 18-year-old Cody Ruff and another person dressed in dark hoodies, wearing gloves, backpacks and shining a flashlight into neighbor's cars in the 6400 block of Lange Drive.
When officers arrived, they found Ruff nearby and questioned him. They said he gave a fake story which they quickly determined not to be true, and they found belongings from some of the cars on him, including the prescription drugs.
Officers arrested him for several felony charges, two misdemeanor drug charges and an unrelated traffic warrant.
They are still looking for the other man involved.
