COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. -- Colorado Springs Police are investigating several incidents where multiple shots were fired across the city.

The first happened around 8:30 Saturday night at the 7-11 convenience store on the corner of Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road.

Police said a fight broke out between two groups of people and more than 20 shots were fired.

According to police, two people were taken to Memorial Hospital by an unknown person. One victim suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder and the other a gunshot wound to his chin. Police said the injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers recovered a sawed off shotgun and one handgun after locating one of the two vehicles involved in the shooting. Police are still searching for the second vehicle described as a black 4-door car.

The 7-11 building was damaged during the shooting.

So far, police have arrested 25-year-old Bryan Batts, but an investigation is ongoing.

Springs police are also investigating a shots fired disturbance in a Rockrimmon neighborhood.

Shortly before 1 Sunday morning, police responded to the area of Delmonico Drive and Rockrimmon Boulevard for two separate reports of shots fired.

One person reported the suspect as driving a white Jeep Cherokee. While police spoke to the witness, a vehicle matching their description drove by. The Jeep was stopped and the driver, Daniel Carroll, was taken into custody after shell casings were found inside his jeep. Carrol was arrested on several charges, including illegal discharge of a firearm.

Police said numerous shots were fired with some bullets striking a fence near an apartment building. No injuries were reported.

Then, just a couple hours later, police were called to the 700 block of Zion Drive for shots fired in the area.

Around 3:40 Sunday morning, police received a call from a man who said he hear about five gunshots and his home had been struck twice.

When officers arrived they found four shell casings in the road along the 600 block of Circle Drive. One shell casing was also found inside the victim's home.

No injuries were reported and no arrests were made. An investigation is ongoing.
