LAFAYETTE, COLO. (AP) -- A Lafayette anthropologist says she didn't have to go far to find some archaeological treasures.
Rebecca Schwendler found patent medicine bottles, a tea cup, poker chips and a soup tureen with hand-painted floral print and gold leaf in an abandoned outhouse in her own back yard.
According to the Longmont Times-Call, the privy dates back to 1892. Previous residents included a coal miner and a furniture maker.
