Sarah Rael, 23, arrested for attempted second degree murder.
EL PASO COUNTY -- El Paso County officials said they arrested Sarah Rael, 23, late Thursday night for attempted second degree murder.
Officials reported to the 500 block of Griffith way in southern El Paso County after shots were fired.
Deputes found a man with a gunshot wound to his stomach.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The victim is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
The Sheriff's Office Investigations division said Rael shot the victim with a suspect after the two got in an argument outside the residence.
Rael has been charged with Criminal Attempt Second Degree Murder.
She's currently being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center on a no bond as the charge is a Domestic Violence Offense.
The investigation is ongoing.
