El Paso County Sheriff's deputies investigate a Friday night shooting that left one man hospitalized.

SECURITY-WIDEFIELD, COLO. -- El Paso County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman who allegedly shot a man overnight in the Security Widefield area.
The shooting happened in the 500 Block of Griffith Way just before midnight Thursday.
Deputies said the man was taken to an area hospital. There was no word on the extent of his injuries, but authorities said he was conscious and breathing when they arrived.
Officials also said the female suspect was in custody.
