DENVER (AP) -- Gov. John Hickenlooper is promoting March Madness in Colorado.

He's signed a proclamation declaring Thursday as "CSU and CU are Dancing Day" and has ordered that the schools' flags be flown over the state Capitol as long as their teams remain in the NCAA tournament. His proclamation also urges Colorado State and Colorado fans to wear their school colors on game days.

It's the first time both schools have been in the tournament since 2003.

CU, the winner of the Pac-12 tournament, plays UNLV in Albuquerque, N.M. while CSU faces Murray State in Louisville, Ky. on Thursday.
